Good Shepherd Catholic School is nestled near the banks of Galbidira (Ross River), formed by the creator spirit Gabul, who reminds us of our continuing connection to the First Peoples of this Country of Gurambilburra (Townsville).

We acknowledge that the land, skies, and waterways are integral to the Wulgurukaba, who have cared for this Country for thousands of years.

We respectfully recognise the strength of educational practices of First Nations peoples, and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.

As a school community, we gratefully thank those who have come before us for their wisdom, guidance, and hospitality as we walk together in unity towards reconciliation.
